Good news: peteryola.com is now open for business.
What will I be selling?
All sorts of things - mostly items I have not got room for which I was previously selling on e-Bay, but I stopped doing that some months ago on account of all the constant changes being made on there which made things more and more awkward as time went on. However, this is not an auction site - what I list as a price plus postage is what you pay, no hidden extras or fees. I will even deliver in person if you are near enough to me and it is convenient for both of us.
With the heavy and bulky items I have generally set the item prices based closely on delivery costs within the UK. If you are outside the UK, please e-mail me on peter@peteryola.com and I will check the extra cost of delivering to you - if you are happy to proceed once the cost is known, I will create a special "additional postage costs" item for you to purchase alongside the item(s) you want. This method keeps the site simple and avoids the need to include postage calculators and other complexities. Paintings, which involve a lot of work to create and which tend to consume expensive goods in the process are priced differently to reflect that, but are still only priced for UK delivery.
What can you expect to find here? Complete sets of magazines by year, newspapers from specific notable dates - of which I will only have one of each. Paintings! I do a lot of paintings but am running out of room for them...!!! Surplus books. Anything, really, as long as it is legal!
In the top right corner you will see a search box; this is set to work from a single word or even a number from within the item titles, so you do not even have to enter a full title to search for something. You could, for example, type in a year - 2015 for example - and it will show you everything I have listed from that year. The single word "Air" will bring up every set of Air Britain News. the current listings are summarised below; please keep checking regularly for updates.
